Are you passionate about helping children thrive? Do you have the skills and motivation to make a real difference in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated High Level Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic and nurturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning, supporting pupils across the school.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to plan, deliver, and lead whole-class sessions across EYFS.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
- Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Build caring, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Have a good understanding of language development
- Have experience of supporting children with SEND
- Have experience of managing children’s behaviour within an agreed system
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience working within an Early Years school setting
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Is patient, proactive, and passionate about education
- Is committed to helping every child reach their potential
