Are you passionate about helping children thrive? Do you have the skills and motivation to make a real difference in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated High Level Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic and nurturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning, supporting pupils across the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to plan, deliver, and lead whole-class sessions across EYFS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned lessons to whole classes
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress
  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Build caring, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Have a good understanding of language development
  • Have experience of supporting children with SEND
  • Have experience of managing children’s behaviour within an agreed system

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Experience working within an Early Years school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Is patient, proactive, and passionate about education
  • Is committed to helping every child reach their potential
